PARISH COUNCIL - this section describes the work of the parish council, which plays an active part in the protection and development of our village. Here too is a store of parish documents.

FACILITIES  - this section describes the main physical assets available to the villagers such as Village Hall and Sports Field, also the new Community Centre.

FRACKING

There is also a Map issued by IGAS. The light green areas as those already announced as being awarded in the 14th Licensing round, with the dark green ones being likely to be announced before the end of the year. The other boxes refer to those already awarded.

 Gringley lies in PEDL 139 which is already awarded to IGas, but lies adjacent to ML4 and PEDL 178. These are also owned by IGas, so no change for Gringley at present.

The Community First Responder (CFR) team that operates in Misterton and surrounding villages is always seeking more volunteers to be in trained in life-saving skills during the coming year.
